Upper Arm Rejuvenation Patient 1 – Liposuction
This 41 year old patient asked for a more slender appearance of her arms. She felt self conscious about them in certain clothes. The patient is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. Liposuction was performed by Dr. Parker on both arms, removing 275 cc of fat from each side. Postoperatively, the patient was much more self- confidant with the improved contour of her arms.

Aging and weight fluctuation may cause excess fat and/or sagging skin to occur in the upper arms. Liposuction will help most patients by removing fat and achieving mild skin tightening. One tiny incision is hidden in the armpit area and another by the elbow. Patients with severely drooping skin will need to have that skin surgically excised. This procedure is called a brachioplasty. The final incision runs on the posterior aspect of the upper arm from elbow to armpit. Though the scar will fade in the first year, it is permanent. Click to read more about Arm Lift in New Jersey.
