This 24 year old patient has never liked the dorsal hump on her nose. After a careful evaluation of her facial proportions, Dr.Parker used a two -phase approach. To improve the shape of her nose, he performed a rhinoplasty and then addressed her chin by inserting a silastic chin implant to provide better balance between her nose and chin.

This 23 year old was concerned about her dorsal nasal hump and breathing difficulty. An open rhinoplasty with SMR and bilateral inferior turbinectomies were performed by Dr. Parker as well as insertion of an extended chin implant through a submental incision. Postoperatively, her breathing was markedly improved. Aesthetically, the nose has a more pleasing contour on both frontal and profile views. This chin implant provides better facial harmony among the nose, lips, and chin.

This 37 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by her primary care physician for a secondary rhinoplasty and to correct breathing problems. She had undergone a closed rhinoplasty by another surgeon several years ago. She presented now with difficulty breathing from both sides of her nose and concerns about the external appearance of her nose . She felt her nose was overly large and wide for her face, deviated to the right side and had an asymmetric, broad tip. Using an open rhinoplasty technique, Dr. Parker straightened and reduced the overall size of the nose, sculpted a more defined tip and corrected the internal breathing problems by addressing the deviated septum, inserting spreader grafts and reduced the size of the inferior turbinates. Postoperatively, the patient was delighted with the size, shape and natural appearance of her nose as well as the marked improvement of her breathing.

This 58-year-old patient was concerned about the appearance of the nose. She said she had broken it when she was younger. She was bothered by the dorsal hump and asymmetric, drooping tip. Additionally, she had difficulty breathing through the left side of her nose for many years. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty to reduce the dorsal hump and lift, as well as shape, the tip under direct vision. At the same time, an SMR and left partial inferior turbinectomy were performed. Following surgery, this patient is pleased with the very natural appearance of her nose, as well as markedly improved breathing.
